This project is actually one of the hardest projects I've ever worked on - my own website. I really needed to create a virtual portfolio so potential clients could peruse my work at will. I wanted the graphics to be interesting and memorable, but not clash with any of the design work I have done for clients, which is the purpose of the whole site. I am a former antique dealer who is quite fond of engravings and old vintage posters, so I based my design on an old fountain pen engraving with the feeling of historic ephemera.
